Per-customer pricing lives in the Rate Card tab on the customer profile. There are two sections.
Section 1 (Billing Summary) holds per-site rates. Each row is one declared unit type at a service location, with its own unit count, unit type, service rate, rate period, and service frequency — a site can have more than one row if it has more than one unit type. These rows bill their own rate directly on recurring Cycle Invoices generated from the Rate Card (Track A) — no hierarchy involved.
Section 2 (Customer Default Rates) holds per-customer default rates for specific products and services. These apply when you add items to one-off jobs, quotes, or manual invoices for this customer (Track B). They don't apply to Cycle Invoices, which always bill Section 1's rows directly.
Track B resolves prices in this order when adding an item to an invoice or job line: a site's Additional Charge wins first, then the customer default rate (Section 2), then catalog price (inventory item default). Recurring Section 1 rows are never part of this resolver — they only bill on the Cycle Invoice. The source badge on each line item shows which layer was used.
If you used the old standalone "Edit Pricing" modal that lived on the customer overview tab, that modal has been retired. Its functionality moved to Section 2 of the Rate Card tab. All your existing custom pricing data is preserved and continues to work in jobs and quotes — it just lives in a clearer home now.
To add a per-customer default rate, open the customer's Rate Card tab and click "Add Default Rate" in Section 2. To add a per-site rate, click "Add Service Location" in Section 1, or use the Service Plan button on the site's card in the Sites tab.
