The customer profile organizes everything about a customer across nine tabs. Each tab answers one question, and they cross-link to each other so you can navigate between related concepts without hunting.
Overview is the at-a-glance card — basic contact info, a "What's active" summary showing active sites, tracked units placed, MRR, open jobs, and draft invoices, plus a Details → "Negotiated pricing" card summarizing the customer's Customer Default Rates with a "Manage on Rate Card" link. Each number on the summary is clickable and jumps to the relevant tab.
Contacts is the customer's people — billing contact, on-site contact, decision-maker. Used in invoices, agreements, and any communications.
Sites is the physical layer — Street Addresses (contractual sites) and GPS Pins (precise placements within addresses). Each address has a cross-link to its Rate Card row(s).
Rate Card is the commercial contract, and it's fully editable in place — not read-only. Section 1 (Billing Summary) covers per-row editing (Edit service plan, Add recurring service, Fix rate), units, rate, frequency, and MRR/Flagged rollups; a site can have more than one row if it declares more than one unit type. Section 2 (Customer Default Rates) covers per-customer fallback rates. The tab also has an autopay panel, a billing-source indicator (Rate Card / Completed Work / Both), and the "Generate Cycle Invoice" action. This tab is the source of truth for what you charge.
Rentals & Service recaps the Rate Card alongside live deployment — which tracked units are on which route or job right now. If a customer has no Rate Card rows yet, this tab's empty state routes you to the Rate Card tab to set one up.
Jobs & Reports is operational history — every job created for this customer, completion status, maintenance reports. Completed jobs link to the invoice that billed them (if applicable).
Financial is the money trail — every invoice, every payment, every receipt. Each invoice shows its source (Rate Card cycle invoice, manual, or quote-converted) and links back if relevant.
Pipeline is the lead funnel — if this customer started as a prospect, their journey through your sales pipeline.
Activity is the audit log — every important change to the customer record, with who made it and when.
Cross-links between tabs follow the data. Sites link to the Rate Card. Rate Card links to Sites. Financial invoices link to Jobs and to the Rate Card. The customer profile is meant to be navigable without losing context.
