Each Rate Card row can be expanded to show exactly what units are at that site. Click the chevron on the row to open the detail panel. You'll see two sections: Tracked Units (the specific numbered units assigned to this site, like #1019) and Untracked Counts (the difference between the declared unit count and the number of tracked units assigned).
If you're new to PortaPro or you bought an existing operation, you can skip tracked unit numbers entirely. Just set the unit count on the Rate Card row to match what's at the site. The Untracked Counts section will show the full count, and your billing will work correctly. You don't need to create delivery jobs for units that were placed before you were using PortaPro.
When you're ready to start tracking individual units, click "Assign Tracked Units" in the expanded row. Pick from your inventory of available units that match the unit type. They'll be assigned to this site without creating a job. Once assigned, those tracked units become available to place at specific GPS Pins for driver navigation, and they appear on driver mobile screens with the site context.
The Rate Card is the registry of what's at each site. The unit count on the row is the declared total. Tracked units are the specific items within that total that you can identify by number. Untracked count is the remainder. The system is honest about all three so you always know what's deployed and what's billed.
If the number of tracked units assigned exceeds the declared unit count on the Rate Card row, you'll see a reconciliation warning. Either reduce the assignment or increase the declared count to match.
