Beyond reply capture, each organization gets a personal inbound email address that captures email sent from — or received in — your own mailbox. This is how you get cold inbound (a customer emailing your business address directly) and "sent from my own Gmail" threads into the Inbox, HubSpot-style.
Where to find your address
Settings → Company Sending → Email Inbox Capture. Your inbox address is shown with a copy button.
Two ways to use it
Step-by-step guides: How to auto-forward from Gmail and How to auto-forward from Outlook.
Matching to the customer
Captured mail is matched to the right customer by email address. Unknown senders become unmatched email conversations you can link later from the thread.
Automatic BCC on connected-mailbox sends
When you send a conversation email through a connected Gmail/Outlook mailbox, PortaPro also auto-BCCs your inbox address — redundant capture, in case a customer's reply ever strips the Reply-To (which some forwarding setups do).
The toggle
The Email Inbox Capture toggle in Settings → Company Sending is on by default and governs both mechanisms — the reply-capture Reply-To and the auto-BCC — as one feature. Turn it off and email conversations become outbound-only, with replies going to your mailbox instead of the Inbox.
Nothing is lost from your mailbox
Captured replies are also forwarded to your designated mailbox (your connected mailbox address, else your support/company email), so your mailbox stays complete. Loop protection stops those forwarded copies from re-entering the Inbox.
