The Time Clock is PortaPro's built-in punch clock. Every time-tracked person clocks in when they start, takes breaks, and clocks out when they're done. Those punches roll up into a pay-period timesheet that the office reviews, corrects, and approves. Approved timesheets export to your payroll system as a CSV, so there's no double entry.

Everyone Uses the Same Punch
The clock covers every time-tracked role, driver, mechanic, admin, and dispatcher. A mechanic clocking a shift and a dispatcher clocking a shift produce identical records; the office timesheet view lists them all side by side. This is the foundation for port-a-john company payroll and portable toilet route payroll alike: one clock, reviewed in one place.
One Open Shift Per Person
You can only have one shift open at a time. Trying to clock in while already clocked in returns your existing open shift, no accidental double punches. If you forgot to clock out yesterday, the app closes yesterday's shift automatically when you clock in today, and flags it for the office to correct.
GPS on the Punch
Clock-in and clock-out capture your GPS location on a best-effort basis; it never blocks the punch. This shows up in the office timesheet view as attribution and helps resolve disputes about when someone actually left the yard.
