Step by step in writing: The Customer Hub and the Customer Profile
Transcript
A customer calls. Before you say hello, you want to know who they are, what's at their sites, and whether they owe you anything. That all starts here, on Customers. Current is your everyday list: anyone with recent work or service coming up. All shows every active account, and Inactive keeps the ones you've set aside out of the way. Search reads names, contacts, phone numbers, and site addresses, so a street name finds the customer too. And it looks across every list at once, even inactive customers. Filters narrow by industry, residential or commercial, and billing. On Rate Card means the customer has a live recurring billing line today, not just a setting. Need to change a lot of accounts at once? Tick a few rows. Now you can merge duplicates, set a type, sort accounts into residential and commercial, or invite them to the portal. New accounts start with Add Customer, and the menu beside it imports a whole list or downloads one. Click a name, and the account opens. Quick Actions sends a quote, an invoice, or an agreement, and lets you see the portal exactly as they do. Every part of the account has its own tab, from the inbox to documents. Sites holds each address, its map pins, and the rate card that sets what's there, how often it's serviced, and what it costs. And Financial has the quotes, invoices, payments, and credits, with a statement one click away. So the next time the phone rings, the answer is one search away.
