Step by step in writing: Leads & Deals: Tracking Sales from First Call to Customer
Transcript
Not every call turns into a job the same day. Some take a site visit, a price, and three follow-ups. Leads and Deals keeps all of them moving. Each card is a prospect, and each column is how far along they are. Up top, what's open, what it's worth, and that value weighted by how likely each one is to close. Follow-ups that are due, or overdue, wait here so nobody goes quiet on a customer. Filter by owner, close date, where the lead came from, or how hot it is. Open a lead to see everything about it. Move it along the stages as the conversation goes. Its value, rating, source, owner, and when to follow up next. Every call, email and note lands on the timeline, so whoever picks it up next knows the story. Email them, put them on a follow-up sequence, or add a note. And once they say yes, convert the lead into a customer, and their details come with it. Deals are the same idea for customers you already have, like next year's fair, or a second job site. Each one shows its stage, value, close date and who owns it.
