A birthday card only works if someone remembers in time to collect
signatures. PortaPro keeps birthdays for your team and customer contacts, shows
the ones coming up, and reminds the office ahead of the day.
Where birthdays are entered
Birthdays are stored as month and day only, never a year, so nobody's age is
kept. They are always optional, and a half-filled birthday (a month with no
day) simply saves as blank.

February always offers 29 days. A February 29 birthday is celebrated on
February 28 in years that aren't leap years.
Upcoming birthdays
On the Celebrate page, Upcoming birthdays lists the next 30 days in two
groups, Team members and Customer contacts. Each row shows the name,
the date and how far away it is (Today, Tomorrow or In 12 days),
plus a Create card button. That button opens a new card with the recipient,
their email, the Birthday occasion and a send time of 9:00 AM on the birthday
already filled in.
An empty group points you to where birthdays are added, for example "No team
birthdays in the next 30 days. Add birthdays on team profiles via Team
Management → Edit."
Birthday reminders
Settings → Cards & Birthdays (in the Customers & Growth group) controls the
reminders. Every switch starts on, so reminders work without any setup.
Changes save as you make them.

Turning the master switch off only stops reminders. It doesn't affect cards
you have scheduled or send yourself.
Who gets reminded
Active owners, admins and dispatchers. Drivers and mechanics don't, and the
person with the birthday is never reminded about their own.
Reminders arrive in the notification bell once a day, and clicking one opens
the Celebrate page:
