Activity & alerts
Settings → GPS Tracking → Activity & alerts lists everything the engine records, newest first, with the truck or unit named: deliveries, pickups, arrivals, departures, and the alerts that paged someone (moved unexpectedly, fuel dropped while parked, speeding, battery, offline, zone crossings).
Filters: All / Alerts / Moved / Deliveries / Pickups / Arrivals, and a window of today, 7, 30 or 90 days. The Alerts chip shows how many are still open.
Open alerts carry two buttons. Reviewed means "seen, real, handled", a stolen unit you went and got. Dismiss means "not a problem", a unit a customer legitimately moved. Both close it; the distinction is for you. Deliveries and arrivals are records, not alerts, and have no buttons.
Why a feed at all: the bell shows an alert once. The feed is where a dispatcher who was on the road at 2 a.m. finds it in the morning, and where a pattern (the same unit "moving" every Friday) becomes visible.
Alert routing
Two per-user rows under Settings → Notifications:
Each row has an SMS switch. Turn it on for GPS theft alerts and a 2 a.m. "unit moved" texts the mobile number on your profile, only for users who switched it on, so the owner can be texted overnight while the office staff just get the bell in the morning. Admins and dispatchers receive GPS alerts; maintenance-class alerts also go to mechanics. Turning a row fully off silences that class for you without affecting anyone else.
Speed alert
In the Vehicle tracking section. Off by default. Turn it on and set a threshold between 30 and 120 mph. The first time a truck's tracker clocks it above that speed you get a theft-class alert ("84 mph, over your 80 mph alert"), at most once an hour per truck. PortaPro does not score drivers or keep a speeding tally; this is a single line an owner chooses to draw.
Custom zones
In the Orders & devices section. Give a place a name and an address (a festival site, a restricted lot, a competitor's yard) and a radius in metres (150 m is about a city block). Choose whether to be alerted on enter, on exit, or both. Any tracked truck or unit crossing that circle raises a zone alert naming the asset and the zone. Your yards and customer addresses already have automatic zones and don't need to be added here.
Remove a zone with the × on its row. Removing it stops future alerts; past events stay in the feed.
