Samsara is customer-supplied end-to-end, you continue to pay Samsara, and PortaPro never writes anything back to your Samsara account.

Creating the Token in Samsara
Connecting in PortaPro
PortaPro validates the token against Samsara's /fleet/vehicles endpoint before storing it. A token with the wrong scope fails immediately with a clear error rather than connecting cleanly and returning nothing forever.
What Happens on Connect
If Your Token Is Rotated or Revoked
The row flips to Token rejected, reconnect. Sync stops. Click Reconnect and paste the new token; imported devices reactivate against the same rows, so your position history is preserved.
Reconnect / Re-Import
If you add vehicles in Samsara, click Re-import to pull the new inventory. PortaPro won't duplicate existing rows, it upserts by Samsara vehicle id.
