A tracked unit's profile shows a Last Known GPS card above its Tool Tracking Information section, coordinates, age, source, battery, and whether the tracker has drifted from where the unit is supposed to be.
Accessing the Card
Inventory → click a unit → the card appears on the Overview tab when the unit has a tracker assigned.
Drift Warning
When the unit is bound to a customer map pin (its expected location) and the tracker reports a fix more than 100 meters away, an amber banner appears:
Tracker is ~1.4 km from this unit's placement pin ("Yard"). The unit may have been moved without a records update.
Two things this catches in the field:
The threshold is generous on purpose. Sub-100m variance covers normal GPS accuracy and small on-site movement.
Fixing drift
Two buttons appear under the banner for admins and dispatchers:
Look at the fix's age and source before moving a pin on the strength of one reading. A tracker inside a metal building can be off by more than 100 m with the unit exactly where it should be. Neither button changes billing; pins record where units sit, the Rate Card says what is paid for.
No Drift Data When
The card doesn't render at all in the first case; the drift banner silently drops in the other two.
