PortaPro meters GPS ingest usage per tenant from day one, even though there is no per-usage fee at present. The counter is visible on the GPS settings page and forms the basis for any future consumption-based pricing on this feature.
What Gets Counted
Where You See It
Settings → Integrations → GPS Tracking → the usage line above the Device Health table. It resets on the first of each month.
Why It's There
Two reasons: PortaPro is the Flespi bill-payer, so a tenant streaming hundreds of chatty devices is our invoice, and visible usage tells us and you when a device is misconfigured (someone dialed a tag down to 30-second pings by accident). It's also groundwork for tiered pricing: if GPS usage becomes billable, the natural shape is N tracked assets included per plan tier with overage above. This meter is the data source for that when it happens.
Cost Caps
Hardware provisioning applies subaccount limits at Flespi at connect time, number of devices, streams, and channels. This prevents a runaway device from creating an unbounded bill for us. You'll hit these caps long before they matter (default 100 devices per org); ask if you need more headroom.
