PortaPro Field Operations is PortaPro's mobile app, on the App Store
(iPhone and iPad) and Google Play (Android). It is the same PortaPro your
office uses, with the same account and the same data. Drivers run their day
from it, mechanics see their work orders, and office staff can check on things
from their phone.
The app is free to download and there is nothing to buy inside it. Your
company's PortaPro subscription covers your whole team.
Get the app
Play.
The App Store and Google Play buttons on portaprosoftware.com open the same
listings. On a computer, a button shows a QR code to scan with your phone.
Sign in
Sign in with the same account you use for PortaPro on a computer.
Management. Accept the invitation from the email, then sign in to the app
with that same email.
free trial for your company and Visit portaprosoftware.com. Both open
the website in your phone's browser. Trials are started on the website, not
inside the app.
back in takes you to your company's sign-in. To sign in to a different
company, tap Go to PortaPro sign-in.
When the app opens it plays a short PortaPro animation while your first screen
loads, then goes straight to your work. Drivers land on Today.

After two minutes in the background the app locks and shows PortaPro is
locked. Tap Unlock and use Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint. Your
phone needs Face ID or a fingerprint set up first.
Shared truck tablets don't use this lock; each driver's PIN is the lock there.

Permissions the app asks for

You can change any of these later in your phone's Settings app. If location
sharing is on for your company, your profile shows a Location tracking
card that says so and when your location was last recorded.

If your company uses Walkie-Talkie, the talk bar sits just above the tabs at
the bottom of the screen. Hold to talk, let go to stop. See
Using PortaPro in a browser instead
app.portaprosoftware.com works in any phone or computer browser with the same
sign-in, including the driver app. The app adds push notifications, the Face ID
or fingerprint lock, the phone's own camera and scanner, and a home-screen icon.
Customers never need the app. They use your customer portal in a browser.
