What the schedule does
The Schedule tab tells the recurring-jobs engine which days of the week
this territory is in rotation. When a customer has a recurring service
frequency ("every 2 weeks"), the engine anchors that cadence to the
territory's schedule days.
One row per day
Check the box next to a day of the week to add it to the rotation. When
checked, a frequency dropdown appears with five options:
4th, 5th)
Only one frequency per day of the week; if you toggle a day off and back
on, the frequency resets to Every week.
Specific weeks
When you choose Specific weeks, five buttons appear (Wk 1 through Wk
5) and you toggle on which weeks apply. Leaving all five off is invalid
and PortaPro will nag you to pick at least one before you can save.
Weeks are calendar weeks in the month:
A worked example
A residential route runs every Tuesday and every other Friday:
An event-crew route only runs the first Saturday of each month:
A commercial route runs Weeks 1 and 3 of every month, Mondays:
The count badge
The summary at the top of the tab (e.g., "3 days active") is a quick
sanity check; if you meant to configure five days and only three light
up, something got un-checked.
Saving replaces the full set
Just like ZIP codes, saving the territory replaces every schedule row.
If you delete a day here and save, that day's cadence is gone
immediately from recurring dispatch.
