The Routes item in the left menu is a section with tabs: Week,
Plan a day, Compare and Compliance. Week shows every
driver's week on one screen. Plan a day is Route Plan, where you build
and send one day's routes (see Planning and optimizing routes).
When a driver is out, one action gives their day to someone else: Give
this day to…. It works from the week board, from Plan a day, from the
dispatch map and from the Roster.

The week board
Open Routes → Week. Drivers run down the side and Monday to Sunday
across the top. Use the arrows to move a week back or forward, and This
week to come back.
Each cell is one driver's day:
for example Cantua · 38. Cantua +1 · 40 means most stops are on the Cantua
route and some are on one other route. A day with no route names just
counts the stops (38 stops).
Units are the units on the day's jobs. Hours are the estimated time on site
(the job's own minutes, else your duration rules, else the job-type
default). Drive time isn't in it; Plan a day works that out.
stops stayed. means some of that day's stops had already been started or
finished, so they stayed with the driver.
The Needs a driver row at the top counts each day's jobs that nobody is
assigned to. Under each day's date, Planned means the day has a route
plan and Sent to phones means its routes were pushed to the drivers.
The line above the board totals the week: stops, how many need a driver,
units and hours on site.
Click a cell to open that day's run in a panel beside the board, so the
week stays in view. The stops are listed in the order of the route sent to
the phones, else the day's plan, else by time (the panel says which). Click
a stop to open the job. From the panel:

Drag on the week board

both drivers filled in; nothing moves until you confirm it.
stop from the panel onto any cell on the board. On the same day it goes to
that driver. On another day it moves to that day, with that row's driver

of them to move them all.
day before today, and a started or finished stop can't be dragged.
after the driver's last stop, without an arrival time, and the drivers on
both sides get a message.
Every drop shows what moved with Undo. Undo puts back exactly what that
drop changed: the driver, the day, the stop's place on the route. A stop that
was started or changed since stays where it is, and the message says so.
On a phone the Week tab shows the Roster instead: a seven-day strip and,
under it, the day's drivers. Tap a driver for their stops and Give all
to…. Phones don't drag; the Roster's taps do the same moves.

give him stops. Add driver puts him back if he comes in after all.
Undo is on the message that confirms the hand-off. It gives back every
stop that is still open and still Maria's, puts the truck back, and tells
both drivers. A stop Maria already started stays with her.
If a stop was started or moved while the hand-off ran, it stays where it was
and the confirmation says how many. If someone changed a day's sent route at
the same moment, the confirmation names the day: plan that day again.

Owners, admins and dispatchers can hand off a day. A dispatcher limited to

Questions
Why are the hours different from Plan a day? The week board counts only
time on site, from estimates. Plan a day adds drive time and dump stops.
Why does a day show stops but no route name? The route name is the
service area the jobs belong to (Settings → Service Territories). Jobs in no
area show only the stop count.
I handed off the wrong day. Click Undo on the confirmation. Once it
has gone, move the stops back: open Maria's day on the week board and drag
them onto Juan, or use Plan a day or the dispatch board. Don't hand Maria's day back to Juan: that moves her own
stops too.
