Three tabs on Jobs & Dispatch answer three different questions. Calendar: what is happening on this day? Dispatch: who is doing it? Service Board: where are my units out right now?
Calendar
The Calendar shows one day. Change the day with the arrows or the calendar on the date row, or Today to come back. On a phone, swipe the date card.
Going Out and Coming Back
Each heading shows its count, for example Going Out (12). Each row shows the customer, the job number, the job type, site and time, the driver and the status. Click a row to open the job.
An empty list reads No jobs scheduled ("No outgoing jobs for this date") or No pickups scheduled ("No incoming jobs for this date").
The filter row above (search, Tech/Drivers, Job Type, Status) narrows both lists. Cancelled and skipped jobs stay hidden until you turn on Cancelled in Tools (or Show Cancelled on a phone).
Layouts
On a computer, the View: switch beside Going Out offers three layouts:
Save as Default
When the layout on screen isn't your saved one, a Save as Default button appears. Click it to make this layout open every time ("Stacked is now your saved view."). The line under the heading says Saved View: Stacked, plus · Viewing temporarily when you are looking at another layout. Until you save one it reads "No saved view, switch layout and save to set a default."
The saved layout is yours alone. Phones always show the stacked lists.
Roster
The Roster is a week at a glance: one row per driver, a pinned Unassigned row, and arrows to move a week back or forward. Click a cell to see that driver's jobs for the day. From the Unassigned list, Assign picks a driver for a job without leaving the Roster.
The filter row doesn't apply to the Roster and is hidden while it is open.
Open the Roster as a layout (computer), from Tools → Roster, or with Roster view on a phone. On a phone it shows a seven-day strip and, under it, the selected day's drivers.
Dispatch
The Dispatch tab is for handing out the day's work.
At the top: Total Jobs (with how many are unassigned), Active Drivers and Completion Rate.
Below, on a computer, two columns:
Assigning by drag and drop
You'll see "Job assignment updated successfully". Dragging between these columns changes the driver, not the job's time.
An empty driver reads "Drop jobs here to assign to" and their first name.
On a phone
There is no dragging. Jobs are grouped under Unassigned and each driver. Tap a job to open it, or swipe it left for View and Assign. Assign opens a sheet listing your drivers and Unassigned.
Full Screen Dispatch
On a computer, Full Screen Dispatch at the top of the Drivers column opens the Dispatch Center, a full-screen board for the same day.
Timeline View
With Timeline View on, each driver is a row across hourly columns from 5-6am to 9-10pm, plus Late. A No Time Selected column on the left holds jobs with no time, and the Unassigned row sits above the drivers. A red line marks the current time in your company's time zone.
Each driver's job count badge changes color as their day fills up: one look at the column shows who is light and who is heavy.
Drag a job into a driver's row to assign it. Dropping it in an hourly column also sets the job's time to that hour.
With Timeline View off, the board shows unassigned jobs on top and a card per driver below. Dragging works the same way.
Service Board
The Service Board lists every site that has your units out right now, whatever day they went out. Sites are grouped by service territory. Sites with no territory sit under Unassigned territory.
The top line totals it up, for example 42 sites · 180 units, plus how many have no service and how many are overdue. Each territory heading shows its own totals.
Each site shows:
Sort: switches between Zip (the default) and Next due (soonest first). Sites without a value sort last.
View job opens the site's job. Assign driver (or Reassign driver) picks a driver for it. Sites that only have rate-card units and no job have no Assign button.
When nothing is out, it reads No units currently deployed.
