Every card payment costs you about three percent. The Cash Discount Program lets card payers cover that cost, and gives it back to anyone who pays by cash, check or bank transfer. It's under Settings, Finance, Cash Discount. Turn it on, and every new quote and invoice shows two prices. You don't pick the rate. It's locked to what a card actually costs on your account, and it updates on its own if that ever changes. Choose which payments earn the lower price, like cash, check and bank transfer, or your own, like Zelle. The disclosure prints on every document, so the customer always knows both prices. How It Works walks through the math, and why it's a discount, not a surcharge. The listed price is the card price. Pay any other way, and the difference comes off. On the invoice, the customer sees exactly what they'll pay each way. When a check arrives, PortaPro applies the cash price for you, and a card payment simply pays the listed amount.
