Team Chat has three ways to talk out loud: a call from a direct message,
a quick meeting started from a channel, and scheduled meetings with a
link you can share, including with people outside your company.
Calling someone from a direct message
Open a direct message and tap Call in the conversation header. The other
person's screen rings in any browser tab where they're signed in to
PortaPro and in the mobile app.
cancel.
"📞 Missed call" line is posted in your conversation. The other person sees
"Missed call from <your name>".
already on a call) and Not available right now (they have Do Not
Disturb on).
In a group message, Call rings one member of the group, not everyone.
To talk with several people, start a meeting from a channel instead.
Answering a call
The incoming call fills the screen with the caller's name and photo.
decline and send that message into your conversation with the caller.
Edit replies lets you change the list right there.
During a call you can Mute, use Speaker, Add video, and
Minimize the call to a small bubble while you keep using PortaPro.
Quick replies and Do Not Disturb
Quick replies are short messages you can send when you can't pick up. Every
account starts with four: I'm busy, Driving, On a job and Call
back in 5. You can keep up to six. They are yours; everyone on the team has
their own list.
Edit them, and the two call switches, in any of these places:
Calls).
The Calls switches are personal and apply to your own devices:
you're calling. Off means the call screen still appears, silently.
Callers see "Not available right now". With Reply while on Do Not
Disturb you can pick a quick reply to send each time, or Decline
silently.
Starting a meeting from a channel
In a channel, click Meeting in the header (on a phone, the video
button). A list of channel members opens: "Select members to notify about
this meeting." Search, or filter by Online, Admins, Dispatchers
or Techs, tick the people you want, then:
picked.
Meeting controls: Mute, Start video, Share screen, Background
effects, Devices, Raise hand, Speaker view or Grid view,
People and Leave. When the person who started it leaves, they choose
Just leave (the meeting keeps going) or End for everyone.
Quick channel meetings are included on every plan.
Scheduled meetings
Scheduling a meeting for later is on the Growth plan and above.

let them in, and you are notified the moment someone arrives. Teammates
skip the lobby.
Invited teammates get a notification, and another shortly before the start.
Joining
A channel with scheduled meetings shows Upcoming meetings above the
messages. Each row has Join, which works from 15 minutes before the start
time, plus Copy link and Add to calendar. Whoever scheduled it can
also Cancel meeting.
The Meetings page lists every meeting in your company, in a list or a
calendar, filtered by Active & upcoming, Past, All or External
only. The status tells you what is happening: Scheduled, Room
open, Waiting for host, In lobby, Live, Ended, Not held
or Cancelled. Start meeting there opens a meeting right away and
gives you a link to share.
Guests and the waiting room
Anyone with the meeting link can open it in a browser, with no PortaPro
account. They type Your name, check their camera and microphone, and
click Join meeting. With the waiting room on, the page tells them your
company will be told they've arrived and let them in.
When a guest is waiting:

and Deny (or Admit all when several people are waiting).
Inside a scheduled meeting, Invite people lets you copy the meeting link,
copy an invitation, invite a teammate, or email an invitation to an outside
address.
Editing, ending and cancelling
These actions are on the meeting's menu on the Meetings page, for the person
who scheduled it:
anyone already invited can still use it.
If someone opens the link again during the meeting's scheduled time, the
room reopens (the button reads Rejoin).
