Step by step in writing: Hiring: Your Careers Page, Driver Applications, and Hire
Transcript
Good CDL drivers don't stay on the market long. Hiring keeps every applicant in one place, so nobody falls through the cracks while you're out on a route. Every applicant lands on this board, sorted by where they are in your process. Each card shows the opening, their license class, years behind the wheel, and where they heard about you. Open one to read the full application. It asks the questions a trucking hire needs: endorsements, medical card, violations, accidents and past jobs. When you've made up your mind, hire them, or let them know you're moving on. A hire gets a welcome email, then an invitation to join your team in PortaPro. Positions lists your openings, with how many people have applied to each. Promote checks the listing, then hands you posting text and a tracked link for each job site, so you can see which one brings in applicants.
