A dumpster sits on a job for three weeks, gets swapped twice, and comes back full of shingles. Here's how PortaPro turns all of that into one invoice the customer can follow. It starts when you book the delivery. Pick a roll-off container and a rental term opens with it, tracking that box until it's picked up. The haul rate is charged per pull: once for the delivery, once for every swap, and once for the final pickup. The overage rate per day kicks in when the box stays past the days the rental includes. Then decide how dumping is billed. Included in the rate means each pull carries a set number of tons, and anything heavier is charged per ton over. Landfill cost plus markup bills what the dump actually charges for that load, plus your percentage. A rental uses one model or the other, never both, so the same tons can't be billed twice. For the markup model, the price comes from your disposal sites, under Fleet Management. Each site carries its rate per ton or per load, a minimum charge, and its own rates by material. Clean fill can cost less than mixed construction debris, and a material priced at zero simply bills nothing. When a driver swaps or picks up the box, they photograph the scale ticket in the driver app. PortaPro reads the weight, the material and the ticket number off the photo, and the driver checks it and saves. That writes the charges onto the job. Here's the haul for this swap. And the disposal: five point six tons, priced from the site's rate with the markup built in. This line underneath is for your office only. It shows the landfill's own price and your markup, and it never prints on the customer's invoice. Everything comes together on the Roll-Offs page. Finished rentals wait on the Completed tab until they're billed. Each row repeats the deal at a glance: the haul, how disposal is billed, and the daily overage. Something extra, like a permit or a wasted trip? Add a fee, and it rides along on the same statement. Final invoice gathers every unbilled pull on the rental into one draft: the rental days, each haul, the tonnage or disposal, any days over, and your fees, with a paid deposit credited against it. You review the draft before anything goes out. If a pull on a markup rental is missing its weight, its site, or a rate, PortaPro stops and names that pull, so you can fix the ticket first instead of billing it short. While boxes are out, the Open tab keeps watch: what's on rent, what's running past its days, and which pickups are due this week. Right now, every box is back in the yard.
