Three Jobs & Dispatch tabs that aren't about one day: Advanced Search finds jobs across a date range, Drafts holds jobs you started and saved for later, and Pre-Saved Notes keeps job notes you use again and again.
Advanced Search
Pick a date range
Nothing is listed until you choose dates ("Select a date range").
Quick Date Ranges: Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Month to Date, Last Quarter, Quarter to Date, Year to Date.Custom Date Range: pick a start and end date on the calendar.Narrow it down
Search Job ID: part of a job number, for example 2032. This box searches job numbers only, not customer names.All Drivers: one driver's jobs.All Job Types: Delivery, Pickup, Service, Partial Pickup, Swap or Survey/Estimate.All Statuses: Unassigned, Assigned, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled, Overdue or Completed Late.Cancelled jobs stay out of the results unless you pick Cancelled.
The filters you've set show as chips under Active filters:. Click × on a chip to remove it, or Clear all.
Read the results
A line reads Showing 18 of 24 jobs. Each result shows the job number and customer, the job type, status badges, the scheduled date and time, the driver and the address. Click one to open the job. No matches reads No jobs found.
Export
CSV Export downloads the results. The file has Job Number, Scheduled Date, Job Type, Status, Customer Name, Customer Address, Driver Name, Vehicle, Was Overdue and Completed Date.
Save a preset
Set the filters you want.Click Save Preset.Give it a Name and, if you like, a Description. There is also a Share with team switch.Click Save.Saved Presets appears once you have one. Pick a preset to apply its filters. The trash icon beside a preset deletes it straight away, with no confirmation.
Share the view
Share offers:
Copy Link: copies a link that opens Advanced Search with the same dates and filters. The person opening it needs a login to your company.Send via Email: pick a teammate under Send to, or choose Enter email manually, and PortaPro emails them the link.Drafts
Save a draft from the wizard
In the new-job wizard, click Save & Exit (or close the wizard). You can also press ⌘/Ctrl+S.Save Job Progress asks for a Job Draft Name.Click Save Draft. You'll see "Job draft saved successfully".The same box offers Continue Editing (back to the wizard) and Delete & Exit (close without saving).
A draft is only saved when you name it and click Save Draft. Closing the wizard any other way keeps nothing.
Resume a draft
Open the Drafts tab. It lists your drafts, newest first, each with when it was last updated.Click Resume. The wizard opens with your entries filled back in.Check each step and create the job.Drafts are personal. You only see the drafts you saved.
The draft stays in the list after you create the job. Delete it once you're done with it. Saving the wizard again saves a new draft rather than updating the old one.
Delete drafts
The trash icon on a draft opens Delete Draft. Click Delete to confirm.Delete All removes every draft after a Delete All Drafts confirmation.Deleting can't be undone. With nothing saved, the tab reads No drafts yet.
Pre-Saved Notes
Pre-saved notes are job notes you write once and reuse, like gate codes, placement instructions or a standard pickup reminder.
Create a note
Open Pre-Saved Notes and click Add Note Template.Fill in Title, Category (Delivery, Pickup, Service or Survey) and Content.Active controls whether the note shows up when you pick notes in a job. Set as Default marks it as a default.Click Save.Use the ⋮ on a note to Edit or delete it.
Find and organize notes
Search notes... and the category filter narrow the list.Grouped lists notes by category. Grid shows them all together.Select All then Delete Selected removes many at once.Export downloads your notes as a CSV. Import loads notes from a CSV. The import box has Download Template so you get the right columns (title and content are required).Use a note in a job
In the new-job wizard, on the Job type & schedule step, click Pre-Saved Notes next to Job Notes.The Pre-Saved Notes box opens on the Job tab. Search or filter by category. Default notes are listed first and marked Default.Click a note. Its text is added to the end of Job Notes, after anything you already typed. Nothing is replaced.The Quote and Invoice tabs in that box list your quote and invoice notes and terms. The same box opens from the invoice wizard.
A default note is not added to new jobs by itself. Add it from the box like any other note.
