Fixes for the inventory problems people actually run into, with the reason
behind each one. Consumables have their own section near the end.
A unit shows as unavailable, or can't be picked for a job
Work down this list. The unit list in the job wizard usually says which one
applies next to the unit.
same time. The hint reads "reserved" with the dates, for example
"reserved Aug 6 – Aug 7", or "– open-ended" when the other booking has no
end date. An open-ended booking blocks the unit from its start onward.
those units are held until the quote is declined, edited or deleted, or the
hold runs out. The quote's details show Held units with Holding N
until a date and Release to free them now. See [Item
movement](/article/item-movement).
days set keeps each unit unavailable for that many days next to every
booking, before and after. The hint reads "needs 2 turnaround days next to
the booking …". Change the setting on the product (Returns section) if
it is wrong.
from a customer waits for check-in before it can go out again, when the
product's return check is set to scan or count.
cleaning, Damaged or Missing. Mark it clean, repaired or found
from the Warehouse lists or the unit's page.
laundry and can be booked only for dates after its Expected back day.
Once that day passes without the batch being received, it counts as out
again. See Laundry.
is not offered until it is returned to service.
company can be booked only between the dates you have them, and never on an
open-ended rental. The hint reads "subrented … only". See
A stock count looks wrong
orders, asset tag series counts) never include subrented units. "What can I
work with" counts (the product cards, availability, Units Deployed) include
them only on the days you have them, labelled, for example "Incl. 4
subrented".
cleaning, damaged or laundry lot are part of what you own but are not free
to book. The product's Stock tab shows owned, out today, lots and free.

I can't delete a product
<kit name>. Remove it from the kit first." Open the kit, remove the part,
then delete.
and their booking history; you have to type "delete" to confirm. If the
product has been used on jobs, retire it instead: Retire Product keeps
existing units, jobs and invoice history, and you can bring it back from
Inventory → Inactive Products. If something else still points at the
product, the delete fails with an error.
A product is missing from the job wizard's list
Equipment, Add-ons) and, when you stock more than one family, family
pills (All, Sanitation, Roll-Offs, Waste Containers,
Events). Set both to All. Clear the product type filter and the
search box too.

A scan says "No match for that code"
The header Scan button looks the code up and, when nothing matches, says
"No match for that code" and searches inventory instead.

equipment tag, or a consumable's SKU or UPC. A code nobody entered can't
match; add it to the unit or item and scan again.

Consumables
The low stock alert never arrives

will take the item to or below its reorder point. Completing jobs, editing
stock and delivering customer requests don't send it. The Low Stock
count on the Consumables page still shows the item.
Stock Alerts. Email and bell are on by default; push is off.
Stock didn't go down after a job
is completed, not when they are recorded.

facility has no quantity for the item, the usage is recorded but no
quantity goes down. Correct it in the item's Storage Location
Allocation.
