Step by step in writing: Messages, Notifications and Settings in the Portal
Transcript
Calling the office means catching someone between trucks. A message in the portal waits for them, and the answer comes back to the same place. Open Messages from the top of the portal. The office phone and email sit at the top, for when you'd rather call. Each conversation keeps the whole back and forth, so nobody has to repeat themselves. New message starts a fresh one. Give it a subject and a category, then say what you need. When a question is answered, the office closes it, and it moves to Closed for later. The gear at the top opens Settings. Choose which emails you want: updates on supply orders, and replies to your messages. Texts have their own switches, including a heads-up with a live arrival time when your driver is on the way.
