The customer portal is a customer's own login to their account with your
company. From one web page they can see the units at their sites, upcoming
and past service, service reports, invoices and payments, agreements, and
send you requests and messages. It carries your company name and logo.

Finding your way around
The top row holds the portal's sections:
| Section | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Overview | The home page: headline figures, requests, dumpsters, event layouts, locations, recent activity and the billing summary. |
| Operations | Four views, switched with a row of buttons: Units, Jobs, Invoices and Agreements. Each view has its own web address, so Back and bookmarks work. |
| Consumable Requests | Supply requests. |
| Messages | Conversations with your company. |
Consumable Requests and Messages appear only when the company is on
the Growth plan or above (Enterprise counts). On a lower plan those two
sections, and the matching quick actions on the Overview page, are hidden.
Make a request works on every plan.
At the top right are three buttons: the gear opens Settings (email,
text and push preferences), the bell opens notifications, and the profile
picture opens the account menu, where you manage your password and sign out.
On a narrow screen the section row scrolls sideways. The header puts the
logo and the three buttons on one line and the customer's name on its own
line underneath.
The Overview page
Headline figures across the top:
| Figure | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Service Locations | Active addresses. |
| Units On Site | Units out at the customer's sites right now, counting a group of identical units by its real number. |
| Next Service | The date of the earliest open job dated today or later, with the count of open jobs. |
| Balance Due | What is still owed across open invoices, with "N open invoices" or "All paid" under it. |

Status badges
A status badge is a short label with a coloured dot in front of it, so the
status is always written out, not shown by colour alone. Green generally
means done or in good order, amber means waiting on something, red means it
needs attention or ended badly, and blue is neutral. Each article lists the
badges for its own screen.
