Rescheduling a stop that did not happen is one click in PortaPro. Open it from the Needs attention card in Jobs & Dispatch, from any job's menu, or from the dispatch cockpit's job panel. The side sheet is titled Reschedule stop.
Suggested days
Under When a driver is next in this area, PortaPro ranks the next seven business days (plus the site's territory service days) by who already has stops nearby: the job's current driver, the territory's drivers, and anyone routed within 10 miles that day. Unassigned recurring service counts toward "stops nearby," because most companies assign the morning of. Tomorrow · same driver is always offered, marked Next day. Pick a suggestion and the date and driver are filled in.
Or pick a date
Choose any New date from the calendar. Under Driver, keep the current driver, leave the job unassigned, pick someone else, or unassign it. When rescheduling several stops at once the sheet says: "Pick one day for all of them. Each job keeps its driver unless you choose one."
Add to today's route
If the new date is today and that driver's route is already dispatched, the Add to today's route switch inserts the stop into their live route so it shows up on their phone in sequence.

What happens when you click Reschedule
Changing the date on the job's detail page is a plain edit. It does not record a missed stop, notify the driver, or clear a reported issue. Use Reschedule for stops that did not happen.
Skipping a recurring visit instead
For a recurring service stop the sheet also offers Skip this cycle?: "No make-up visit: the customer is serviced on their next regular day and is not billed for this one." Use it when a customer waves the driver off and does not want a make-up visit. The confirmation reads "Cycle skipped: the customer gets their next regular visit."
What the driver reported
When a driver cannot complete a service line they mark it as not completable and choose a reason: Locked gate, Blocked access, Blocked by vehicle, Site not ready, No room to set container, Customer refused, Overloaded (could not lift), Overfilled above the rails, Prohibited items in load, Wrong debris type in container, Damaged unit, Unit tipped over, Unit vandalized, or Other. The job stays open, the reason shows as Driver reported: on the reschedule sheet and in the end-of-day report, and the office decides what happens next.
